Meet the Team
Troy and Joy Thollot have been in the jewelry business for over 35 years. After receiving their Graduate Gemology Diplomas from the Gemological Institute of America, the pair opened a trade shop in Golden, Colorado in 1993. Two years later they relocated the business from Golden to downtown Denver. Once there, the couple ran a successful wholesale trade shop servicing several Denver area retail jewelry stores. After about five years, Troy decided it was time to break into the retail scene.
In 2012, Thollot Diamonds was accepted as one of the 2% of global jewelry stores to attain prestigious ranking of American Gem Society AGS Retail Firm. Troy and Joy moved their retail business to Thornton, Colorado in 2013 where they serve the community by offering exquisite Thollot custom designs, as well as name brand jewelry and watches. In a world of big box corporate jewelry stores, Joy and Troy have the simple goal of treating every customer with honor and integrity and expanding the growing group of people they call "family"...one customer at a time.
In 2020, Thollot had the honor of being named one of America's Top Two Coolest Stores by InStore Magazine, gaining a coveted national recognition and realizing a lifelong dream of Troy and Joy's.

Corri has since become an incredibly important part of the team here at Thollot & Co as our head designer. Her Bench experience and educational focus on multimedia art blend together to enable her to be the liaison between our clients and our master jewelers who will create the custom pieces. This blend of skills is rare and are one of the magic characteristics that contribute to Thollot's reputation for excellence in design. When not working, you might find her with her two sons, watching 12U baseball games, or crafting/making things. She enjoys spending time with her boys, their two dogs, bearded dragon, and green cheek conure!
Ally
Customer Solutions Specialist
Born in sunny San Diego, Ally Foust’s love for horses began before she could even walk. She had her first pony long before many of us knew what a pony was. Growing up in the barn, she learned the value of hard work, from cleaning stalls to grooming horses, skills that instilled a strong work ethic in her from a young age.
At the age of five, Ally moved to Colorado, where she continued her passion for horses throughout her childhood and into her teenage years. After high school, she attended the University of Denver while still managing her responsibilities at the stable.
Today, Ally brings that same dedication and passion to Thollot & CO. Her favorite part of the job is helping clients solve problems and ensuring they leave with a smile. She’s also deeply passionate about the fashion and design aspects of custom jewelry making. As someone who used to play dress-up with her mom’s fine jewelry, Ally now gets to indulge her love for beautiful pieces—only this time, she’s getting paid to do it.
Michelle

GIA Graduate Gemologist
Michelle graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 2005 and has worked in the jewelry industry since 1987. As a member of the Thollot family, she enjoys making our clients happy with our workmanship and product selection. Years ago, while scoping the area for a place to live, Michelle drove by Thollot & Co. and realized it was the store owned by friends she worked with back in the Carolinas! When not helping customers or doing appraisals, you can find her on the slopes skiing or hiking. Michelle enjoys spending time with her rescues - two dogs and three cats.

Shawnte joined the Thollot team in 2022, having been referred to Thollot by an industry insider who knew her skills would be a great addition to the Thollot team. Shawnte specializes in insurance and care plan facilitation and has expertise in finding specific ways to solve problems quickly. Her "thinking outside the box" nature helps her to find ways to meet deadlines that otherwise would not be possible when clients find themselves on a short timeline. When she is not working, Shawnte loves investing herself in the lives of her children and friends. Her heart for others shines at work and in her personal life and is evidence of the way she truly cares for others.

Morgan graduated from New Approach School for Jewelers as a Graduate Jeweler and Certified Diamond Setter specializing in Micro-Pave. Having had the honor of apprenticing under Moua Yang for 6 months, Morgan's skills as a jeweler and setter show the amazing training she received. A favorite thing for Morgan is setting gemstones of various shapes, sizes, and colors in our Thollot Custom pieces of jewelry. Her favorite Thollot memory is attending holiday parties as a child and growing up knowing many of our favorite customers. When Morgan is not at work, she can be found hanging out with friends, her two adorable Yorkies, or both at the same time!
Luis
Diamond Setter, Master Repair Jeweler
Luis was born into a family-owned jewelry business and began working as an apprentice at the age of 15. Before deciding to pursue jewelry full time, he received his optician license, working with eye glasses and contact lenses. Instead of pursuing that career, he found himself back at the jewelry bench! Luis brings over 30 years of jewelry experience to Thollot & Co., where he enjoys the opportunities to work on wonderful pieces of jewelry. When not at the bench, you can find him shooting (he's also an olympic marksman!) or spending time with his family.
Glenn
Bench Jeweler, Master Fabricator
Glenn joined the Navy shortly after high school, where he became a sonar technician on a nuclear submarine. He then went on to become a trucker, then a tattoo artist, and eventually a jeweler. Glenn has now worked with the family for nearly 20 years! He has most enjoyed restoring pieces of jewelry back to their former glory, or creating new pieces from scratch and witnessing the joy on a client's face as they see their ideas come to life! Outside of creating beautiful pieces of jewelry, Glenn most enjoys cooking, tinkering with guns, swords, and knives. He loves spending time with his three dogs, all Catahoula siblings named Caesar, Shadow, and Shimmer.
Richard
Sales, Repair Specialist, Quality Control Specialist
GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional
Richard holds a B.F.A. in Industrial Design and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Design from Iowa State University. Having joined the Thollot team in 2021, he is a fresh face to the jewelry community. When not here at Thollot & Co., you can find Richard cycling on Colorado's beautiful mountain roads, kayaking its pristine waters, or hiking the peaks above them! He has an equally adventurous cat named Maya.
